Interesting. Not sure a single constriction (saw cut into bored hole) is sufficient clamping around the post for a large lathe. If diameter is size for size though, that's tightest interchangeable fit available. Whole design and build is straight forward. The 90° block at 7'.37" is impressive; absolute right way for multiple parts.
100% lathe work; no milling machine at all.
