    Pour the concrete... first? Never heard of that before. Better pray that rebar cage doesn't get hung up on anything on the way down. It does have neat wheely guide things on the sides that I've never seen before.

    I am surprised they were even able to sink that cage that deep into the concrete. It would be consolidated really well at the bottom due to the pressure from above. I realize the cage is really heavy, but it does make me curious about the specifications or admixtures of the concrete to make it that flowable.

    At some point they must have run out of those "neat wheely guide things".
