They've been using similar/same machines to insert crash barrier posts along the sides or a local Motorway recently, certainly speeds the process.

Interesting, it doesn't appear to have any angular adjustment. Be limited to flat terrain.
Downunder our way, on flattish terrain for the likes of vineyards & espalier orchards,
front end loader buckets are the post drivers of choice, so much quicker...

Here something of interest . A Kiwi called Jim Fairbrother invented the hydraulic post driver: https://www.transag.co.nz/kinghitter

I think the modern hydraulic driver heads developed from the rock breakers used on excavators in quarries and for building demolition work. Certainly easier to use and with a quick-hitch can be swapped out with a hole borer which may be needed in some substrates.

Another guy by name of David Kennett invented an electric post driver which was built around an Aluminium ladder frame and could be run off an ATV/farm bike fitted with an frame to carry a generator. I saw one of these operating at an A & P Show and it was amazing. Could even drive a post horizontally into a bank!
Just looked for it and the company has been de-registered in NZ but there is a company of the same name in Israel that does construction work but it is not shown in there product lists?
