I hired a guy with one of these machines. His was a dedicated machine, fully integrated - not an attachment. Fantastic machine. He was able to shred trees - raised the head as high as possible, full power on rotor drum, roll down the 6-8" tree, taking two passes to take the tree down to the ground, just about as fast as it takes to read this one sentence. He cleared a couple of acres in only a few hours.

These machines are used to clear fire lines. He did that as well. He could cut thousands of feet of mulched fire break per day.

Unfortunately, when he was doing my job, he blew a hydraulic hose and he spent more time fixing that than he spent cutting...
