I can’t believe this!
In Australia there would have to be closure of at least one side of the road with temporary traffic lights to control traffic flow, a speed limit of 25km/h. Several high-vis dressed workers standing around, some with SLOW/STOP lollipop signs, others with no apparent purpose.

I have just returned from a coastal location to the city via a 110km/h highway that had resurfacing work completed around 2 months ago. The temporary speed limit on their precious new surface is 60km/h for 15 kilometres!! So frustrating
