At those temperatures, your safety gear is your brain. Eye protection should be worn, and is definitely available. As is hearing protection. The forging factories I have visited in China all have it available. Many are still to macho to wear it. The laws are there, and many of them are getting enforced much more rapidly than we ever did in the west. I have visited China regularly since 20212 and in those years I saw huge changes in safety and overall health and environmental law enforcement.
