I drove a pot hauler at the Granite City Works. I hauled them a half mile to a spot above a pit and backed up to a pair of wheel stop blocks to dump them. I would raise the pot up until gravity took over and free fall onto a knocking stop, while still attached to the machine, which would shock the contents loose. The pot was shaped like a funnel. It took a few months to get confident. The machine was huge.
