OUCH, I hope I am mistaken, but it looks to me like his left arm is not suppose to bend at that spot!!

That was a pretty good dismount in the circumstances. He achieved the roll position pretty easily and quickly.

That’s Marc Marquez in the 2020 Spanish Grand Prix. It was actually his right arm that was severely injured. He has had surgery three times so far but it ‘s still not right for his riding style. After this weekends race he will sit out the rest of the season and come to the Mayo Clinic here in the states for another surgery and have plenty of time to rehab before the 2023 season.
He is a six time world champion.

It does appear left forearm took a beating, the right elbow seems to get it direct per Z2V's report post *4. Leathers fit snugly, the impression I got was the sleeve rolled under somewhat and the 'fracture' could be the elbow cup, distorting the shape.
    Sincerely,

Yeah, if you look at around the 17.5s mark, he takes a hard landing on his right elbow, likely splintering the humerus. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

It does not appear that was an option in this situation.

Am I seeing things or does a type of air bad deploy between :01 and :02? His suit appears to "puff out" very quickly.
