Small assembling hammer

I have some cheap replaceable head hammers. You know, the kind with a yellow face, and a black face? The hammer you made looks a lot nicer than they do. I have another homemade hammer that is reminiscent of the hammer you made. The hammer I have just has a simple head on it though. It is my go to hammer for striking center punches. I just like it for that. But I didn't make that hammer. I can't remember where I got it from. I might have picked it up in a box lot of junk, or got it from my grandfather's garage?

It has a round knurled handle that necks down to the round shaft, with a thread the head goes on. It doesn't have that stop shoulder like yours does though. It'd be better if it did. It has a simple cross peen riveting head. A real basic shop project look to it. Your hammer is much more refined.
