Hmmm, I could use something like that. I have a small round parts cleaner that harbor freight used to sell for small parts but kinda big for just a few pieces of hardware. Nice !

I was at a garage sale today and there was a pretty little French Press (for coffee) for sale.
I told my wife: "Do you know what this is?"
She said, "Yeah . . . it's a French Press!"
I said, "Nope! It's a small parts washer" (as I showed her the up and down motion).
She rolled her eyes!
Pshaw! Women!

The French press is also a great idea. My second hand store seems to always have them. When this virus is over or waaaaay down in my county, I'll go by and check.

For really tiny parts, a tea ball works well too. The spring-loaded clamshell made of screening type come with an attached handle that makes them really easy to use.

Thanks mbshop. I used to clean small parts in an open container and pick up each piece with long-nose pliers, but with this device, collection is much easier, and the destined container allows the solvent to be reused.

It is a good idea if the French Press is not working. If you were to cannibalize a useful device, a sink basket would be much cheaper.
