I had one of those cheapo Fluke thermal cameras for a while. When I say cheap, I mean cheap for a Fluke thermal camera. It was about a kilobuck. It was pretty terrible. Then I upgraded to a Seek Thermal camera (plugs into a phone). That thing was great. There's a pond in my backyard, and I could see trails in the water where the beaver kicked up slightly cooler water from the bottom from about 200 ft away. It was extremely impressive.

Then I dropped it and it got all screwed up. It still kinda works, but the image is very fuzzy and messed up.
