Socket holder
Had to turn up a couple of hinges. Original design was 16mm x 12 mm blank and and then in a 4 jaw and off set the turning part to allow a 4 mm clearance for the hinge part.
I am very lazy so did not feel like fitting the 4 jaw and had some 12mm sq bar off cuts.
So came up with this plan. Drilled and tapped a 19 mm socket to accept 6mm grub screws and job done. Did not even destroy the socket as it can still be used for its original purpose.
Attachment 28728
will fit a 5 mm spacer on the one side and adapt the rest of the dimensions.
