Sockets for stake anvil
Attachment 7051My first anvil has no bick! But fortunately I have been able to buy a substantial stake anvil.
The sockets were forged from 2" pipe (not galvanised!) which I salvaged from the undergrowth in the Dell, leading down from my house.
Pictures show a socket fastened to a maple anvil stool(more about this soon), to a stump outside and to my woodworking bench. Attachment 7049Attachment 7050Attachment 7049
