Does the handle slide in and out? I see 2 different position in the pictures.
What's the extra switch for?
Hello Katy, to answer your question I used a piece of round stock that was 7/8 inch and drilled a 1/2 inch hole in the end which fit over the existing vise shaft and put two grub screws on either side of the shaft to hold it secure from turning. it was necessary to drill a hole under the grub screw so it would not slip. I did the same thing on the other side this time between the 3 arms of the speed handle. the speed handle fits exactly between the upper frame and the large hand knob blade tensioner.
the three arms of the speed handle must not be to long as not to bump into the frame or hand knob. the switch is for the light that is mounted over the upper arm above the blade and vise so the handle and shaft do not move at all. Cap. hope this helps see ya ...thanks for dropping by....
