A Speedy Stitcher™ Sewing Block

I have no quarrel with my Speedy Stitcher. It is a very well designed tool. My problems are with how I was using it. Sure, it can punch through a thick stack of material with ease, but it can do the same with my hand. Furthermore, my stitching looks great on the top of the stack and awful on the flip side. Here is how I solved both problems.
