Spider-Mandrel for Big Tubes - Final part and upgrade from six legs

I've just published the final part of the build of the lathe spider/mandrel fixture for holding large tubes on my Colchester 1800 lathe. Silliness abounds as usual, and my AI sidekick AIMEE makes relevant but snarky comments, because she's like that. The fixture is now in live use and making some very useful parts. It was a lot of fun to make. Huge thanks to Chris Maj for triggering the idea of making it work with three OR four legs per end. Well, a spider SHOULD have eight legs, otherwise it's probably a weevil.

I recommend that OP or Jon link the original post Expanding Mandrel for turning large tubes here so they follow on, as one expounds so well on the other. Simply searching spider-mandrel only turns up the latter?
