spindle bore depth stop

One thing that has been sadly lacking on my lathe is I didn't have a spindle bore depth stop
Since I now had the bent cylinder rod I replaced in the 6" cylinder I thought it would make the perfect bore stop if there was enough straight material to make one out of.
The spindle on my 17" Leblond lathe is 1.550 making the 1 1/2" cyl rod just about right
I cut it is the bend to get as much length as possible since I needed to turn it down on the end to 1,125 allowing me to chuck short parts smaller than 1 1/2" diameter
