Thumbs up stitching pony for leather work

I got into leather work a few years back and needed some way to hold the leather when sewing it. I decided to make one that was portable and adjustable, and this is what I came up with. It has 11 different positions and also swivels for the most comfortable sewing positions. It has a quick clamp that makes for quickly securing leather in the jaws. Sure comes in handy for stitching leather.

    Nice design, well done !
Sure I will do one sooner or later. I like the foldable design, because I have no more room in my shop to store cumbersome occasional tools.
We don't see however how you designed the quick release clamp as you mention ?
    thanks !
