    Doc, nicely done. That grinding wheel balancer you made will definitely work but it does take time to get a wheel balanced using the three adjusting weights in the hub.

    I had two attempts at making a balancer, the first using four unsealed bearings to reduce friction to a minimum placed inside larger discs. It partially worked but was not sensitive enough to get the wheel balanced 100%.

    So mark-2 was next and is essentially the same design as yours but I used laser cut parts screwed together and made adjusting blocks at each end of the rollers so as to get them perfectly level relative to each other and the base. I'm very happy with mark-2's balancing performance.
