Nice knurling job, looks like boring out solid stock is a bit of a job on the small lathe. Thanks for posting.
I made one of these the other day, not for the lathe, but I was working on my 57 truck, where someone put in real long bolts to hold the seat in the cab. They stuck down about 30mm from the bottom. The frame was in the way of spinning on the die, hence a long extension to drive the die was needed. The bolts were very rusty (winter salt spray), and after twisting one off, I made this tool to run the die up the rusted threads, so the other 7 bolts would not twist off. I need to make a set of these for all the different die diameters, as this is not the first time I've run into this issue of driving a die where there is no clearance for the die stock handles. I was lucky to have a piece of tubing that required very little material removal.
