I stumbled on a few YouTube videos of people using heat to form PVC pipe. Although I don't have a problem that would be solved with this technology at the moment, that didn't stop me. It was fun to see what could be done with some scrap PVC pipe and my heat gun.

I just let my mind wander (not that I can prevent it doing that) and came up with some silly ideas. Maybe they'll strike a chord in your mind and lead to visualizing something truly useful.Quote:

Here is something I've done many times
cut a 1/2 or 3/4" wide piece off a thin wall PVC, plex poly, or most amy other plastic tubing or pipe then split it and make a flat strip out if it the heat and bend one end about 1/2 to 3/4" as needed to a 90° bend then heat ten remaining body and wrap it around whatever diameter piece you need to make a clamp out of it bringing the 2 ends together forming a flat which you then drill a hole in it for a bolt
