Thread cleanup tool
I always have trouble cleaning up the threads on short bolts using a wire wheel. I took a 3/4 nut and welded a large 3/8 flat washer to it. I insert the short bolt, 1/4, 5/16, or 3/8 into the backside and thread in a 3/4 by 4 bolt to use as a handle. I now dont have any problems cleaning up bolts. To clean the heads of the bolts I took a nut of each size and welded the to pipe nipples and that is how I clean the bolt head.Attachment 27321
