    TINE CULTIVATOR HOE Version 2

When digging blood worms in Moreton Bay, for bait during the 60s and 70s, my father and I would often break a quality garden fork: imagine the cheap quality ones of today.

We used to discard the broken bottoms and keep the handles for replacement. I used one set of tines to make this tine hoe and it excells in compacted soil where my other one fails. The set of tines make the hoe/cultivator end and some flat welded thereon with a piece of gal pipe welded thereto for attachment of a heavy dowel/ post hole shovel handle or the like.

Great Idea of setting the tines of a garden fork at 90° to the handle does make for a handy tool arcing them in a curve of 45° back towards the handle makes it even easier to use as a root rake as well I have an old one laying around that I need to do this to, to use for removing Bermuda grass sprigs from my garden then I can replant them in bare spots in the yard
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products

Yep, they are cheap handy tools indeed. I've used it to roll/drag logs towards me rather than bending my back that has injuries and arthritis.
