Today's tip and how to make a center marker.

For this tool, you should look for a diesel injector nozzle discarded, this nozzle has an excellent hardness for this purpose.


There are various diameters.


Dismantle and remove the thin internal edge and grind the rounded gun.





Remove here not to damage the hammer.

Excellent marker.

The diffuser tip has an angle already defined for marking and sharpening only when needed again.

Old injector needles are great for making very small chisels as well for doing things like cutting out small bushes, cleaning and/or cutting slots. Make small punches. Make excellent small D-bits, engraving bits. Make a hole in a piece of square steel, mount and grind as cutting tools, good for O-rings etc. Best of all your local fuel shop will usually give you them for free.
