    Torx Drivers Holder

These Brand X Torx drivers came in an ugly plastic bag that did not add anything to the culture of my toolbox.

I made this holder out of a 2" diameter piece of black Nylon to keep the 6) drivers organized.
The annular cuts intersect the Ø .25 holes and hold 2) O'rings. When a driver is inserted into a hole, the O'rings exert enough friction to hold the driver in place.

    Very nice!
How about the key way and central hole? Are they functional or were they already there from another project?

    Thanks Karl.
No real reason for the 1" through hole; just thought it was needed.

The slot along the side is there to remove the O'rings.
If someone is inclined to make one of these, I would recommend using as large of cross-section O'ring as can be found.
The ones I used are 1/8" (.130) and the Torx driver has to be twisted back and forth a few times to get past the O'ring.
Not a big deal, but a larger cross-section would make that easier.

Great idea and thanks for sharing! The "ah-ha" moment for me is the rubber o-ring can be utilized with other holders that are not round. My nut drivers are in a rectangular base and when it gets knocked over they all fall out.
