Wounded Warrior, 6 years Marine Corps during OIF/OEF, Professionally trained in Culinary Arts with 15 years exp. When the war was "over" so they said, I went back to the professional kitchens. Finding myself constantly lost and still at war with myself, I never could rest and find peace. Years later after much VA "treatment" I found myself going on 30, with now physical pain issues creeping on me, and unable to work my industry effectively. Always having an interest in graphic arts and design I began re-educating and finally took up the hobby... the Craft of WoodWorking. I am extremely green at both my new endevours and thanks to the generosity and compassion of a Master Woodworker and tool maker from Canada and several others, I was gifted so graciously a mass quantity of great professional hand tools and even a chance to attend a week long workshop in Canada given by the Man himself who orchestrated this great act of human compassion. That of course is another story all together and this is just an intro however the other stories mentioned in this intro are far from the happily ever afters I have grown used to never experiencing. So! I am glad to have found this forum and hope to learn and contribute what I can. Thank you for reading and I am Azrael, the namesake comes from old testament and is found across multiple faiths. another story for another time!
