Here is the wiki about it
It may have been a flop in the critics and the box office of the time. Which was Keaton's fault for making a near to truth historical documentary long before anyone ever heard of such a thing.

I collect old silent movies, and it is one of the best there is. It annoys me when a film it altered and rerelease as restored or new and improved. Just restore it and leave it alone. I bought a box set that all the movies had the be updated in the sixtys. All the slides with text had been removed and replaced with a god awful voice over, and the music and sound effects had been "Updated" They are a peice of history and should not be played around with apart to preseve them. The same thing is happening with old warner brother cartoons, scene are been removed (and histroy lost) because it migh offend or traumatize todays hyper fragile PC audience.

What a waste of a locomotive.

An hilarious film. Keaton performed his own stunts, some extremely dangerous, for example wrestling with a sleeper, and pitching it off at the precise moment, whilst perched atop of the cow catcher
