    It looked like the driver hadn't allowed enough stopping distance then decided to try to drive the rest of the way across. By the time he came to a complete stop he didn't have enough time to go either way crash was inevitable

    I guess if you can snap off the crossing barrier, then it doesn't count. Or maybe just poor brake distance estimate
