    Trying to forge a blade out of a piece of railroad track. Seriously

    When I made my railroad track anvil, I had loads of off cuts. I was thinking this must be decent steel although I have no actual idea what steel this is. I hope I can harden it etc. Anyway, here is part one of my challenge. Let me know what you think:
