That operation is 'rotary swaging'. Using reciprocating hammer-dies.; the desired form is a machined recess, in a single pair or double pairs. They are driven inward by a cam-like arrangement, and withdraw by centrifugal force; many hundreds of hits per minute.
Longer shapes could be heated and drawn [stretched] but making them alike would be not so easy.
I know this is well after your question was posted. We'd like to know, were you able to get the forms you wanted?
