If you look closely, you'll see that some of those trikes have dual rear wheels versus the ones that have just single rear wheels per side.
I have seen these things loaded with rock, gravel, bricks, etc that would put a 1/2 ton truck in the US to shame!
I have actually been in the "factory" that made some of these. There are many different factories that make these, scattered all over China.
I know what you mean. and to put all the rest of the US pickups to shame you simply need one of these jewels, almost every manufacture in the world makes them, in every size imaginable from the micro mini up to 8& 10 ton versions and beyondQuote:

The corporate company I work for bought one of those trucks for our factory in Shanghai. It goes back and forth between our factory buildings and our vendors to get parts & materials. We've also got one of those tuk tuk trikes in the factory for going between the two buildings.
