Tuning a Leatherman Wave (rather unlike tuning a violin)

I love the NEW Leatherman Wave, or Wave+ as they also call them. (is there a difference?)

I've carried a Wave on my hip every day for over 25 years and I had to send in my Original Wave for a rebuild (I had sharpened the blades to death over two decades).

They sent me back a NEW Wave. It is a significant upgrade!

    BUT . . . it needed tuning.
The handles were to tight, the jaws were stiff, and, and and, . . .

So, I made a little video showing how I tune my Wave to make it work the way I NEED it to work, since I use it multiple times every day.

And, no violins were damaged (or even threatened) during the making of this video.

Very useful tuning you did on your Wave. I love mine also.
The notches/serrations you cut on the spine of the blade are referred to as"jimping" by knife makers.
