I used a siphon to empty an above-ground pool once and my neighbor thought it was some kind of magic.

So this can oly lower the water level about 20 inches before the siphon stops. I wonder how many times they needed to spin the pipe over to get the siphon to work

needs a valve and swivel joint to make it eazer.....but it works as is. there are many ways to skin cats this is one that gets the cats wet first.
