    Water run in 'black iron' pipework, pretty common in most industrial plants, we had some like that, run in UPVC up to the entry point to the eyewash units, all 'black iron' from there on, even with weekly flushing the first few seconds were rusty brown, and that's in a University micro-electronics fab!
