Here is a commercial version @ 9337 feet above sea level.
The pilot turns right onto the runway to get that extra 20 feet for takeoff.
Landings at about 2:15 and 4:00.

control tower is short for such a busy strip: obviously works though

    landing on Denali

    Hi Gang:
When I flew up to Denali the pilot showed us where he landed like this the day before on a snow covered hill side with skis. The path looked like an upside down "U". The top of the loop was surrounded by holes in the snow where the climbers had dug in to protect their tents from blowing snow. He said he would be back in a few days to pick them up.
