In tight places with no visibility, maneuvering a screwdriver and not dropping it can be nearly impossible. Here is how I solved this annoying problem.

I will have to give this a try. I have a couple screwdrivers with concave handle ends, so it is easy to apply upward pressure with one finger while repositioning my other fingers, but there are the blind situations as you describe. The sock makes it rather automatic ��

A great mystery surrounds socks and 10mm sockets. Must be a connection.
I must be missing something, here. Instead of a sock, I've been using masking tape to attach the screw to the driver... to hold it in place, until the screw is driven all the way in.
