USS Missouri battleship and submarine - photo

Pearl Harbor, HI. They're headed towards bow of Mighty Mo, that means U.S.S. Arizona Memorial is just beyond.
No clear signal of "Eyes Left". Hands in pockets? Uncovered inside line of demarcation?
That doesn't pass for "Rendering Honors".
It seems, most of the personnel on deck are contractors, civilians, but the bridge team isn't looking very ready for 'Prep' either.
I've sailed inbound/ outbound past U.S.S. Arizona, many times. Rendering Honors was All-Hands for the weather decks.

Agreed Toolmaker51. It's a cool picture to be sure, but rendering honors? Nah. I lived on a sub way back when, and yes our "military bearing" was at times, well, pretty slack. But just milling about on deck like that for honors would not be tolerated.
