That is not an Uzi. That's one of the MAC subguns, looks like a MAC10 in .45 ACP.

When the first semi auto of the MAC-10 came out, my self and a few of my friends all got one. When I tried it out behind HQ, the first burst fired about 6 rounds FA! ( I smiled)
I had been shooting reloads and they were not powerful enough to lock the bolt back. About ten years later NJ banned them (and others) so I had to sell it

Quite right about that. You notice the shooter has the death grip on the forward strap...... Held rock solid it seems
Uzi's despite weighing about 9 lbs need a real firm grip in full auto with a 9mm cartridge.
MAC's weigh just around 6 lbs and being shorter and lighter are a handful using the .45 ACP round. (not to mention muzzle blast without a supressor)

    * The 'Uzi' name comes from the Israeli firearms designer Uziel Gal.
MAC was the initials for the Military Armaments Corporation, Powder Springs GA.,
maker of the Ingram designed submachine guns M-10 and M-11
(also other brands as SIONICS suppressors and Cobray arms)

As mentioned that is a Mac sub gun. Looks like a fat Mac so it would be a M10. Came in 380, 9 and 45 cal varieties.

I had both the 45 and .380 both are long gone. If you pulled the trigger just right on the .380 it would fire FA

What happens at the range stays at the range brother.

Hopefully this never came to fruition: Back in the day, I met someone was working on a reduced version in .32ACP.
I asked him why he didn't just drop back to .22 LR.
He said, Oh, we tried that. It's very tricky because for the bolt and spring rates we had to keep making all sorts of pairing to try.

So I'm thinking they were just tinkering around as cheap fodder and lots of time can engender.

Then he said, 'We were trying to see about getting the .380 to fit into a briefcase package but the
fired brass can't clear the port fast enough and get jammed up inside the case.
We think the .32 should work well all around under ten yards though."

Not seeing Q around and we weren't in his MI6 lab; at this point I was trying to back out of the conversation.
