    Vacuum Brake Bleeding

Vacuum operated brake bleeder. I purchased a vacuum pump on surpluscenter.com and added a steel vacuum tank in line. I plumbed all lines to the tank on the top and a drain valve on the bottom, that way fluid should not be able to get to the pump without an operator error. I put a vacuum gauge on the tank to know everything is working properly. From the tank I used a small hose that was stiff enough to not collapse under a vacuum but stretchy enough to slip on the blake bleeding nipple with a tee and go to both wheels on the rear or front, depending on which end I am bleeding. I turn the pump on and then open the bleed nipple and monitor the brake mastercylinder reservoir and refill as brake fluid flows. I usually run extra fluid through the system to flush it and make it all fresh and new. I hope this helps.
