Nice old machine. My wife once worked for someone who had (among other ventures) a small factory that made things like custom paper pads; I remember seeing a few machines like this on their factory floor, plus the larger hydralic-operated ones. Those were big enough to separate limbs if you weren't careful. Factory lore spoke of one unlucky guy years before who lost his hand at the knuckles in one.

We had a full size floor standing version that while potentially very dangerous, was an amazing paper cutter.
