No question it is a great idea! However, this kind of wall trama is often caused by a door knob and there is often a visible wall or room on the other side. Be aware, if after you make the repair, the same injury occurs in the future you might have double the trouble! The device works because it has created a load-path pressing against the opposite wall. If you press in on one wall it will push out the opposite wall with near equal force. I ordered one . . . and a door stop!
