I did that many many years ago on my 7x14 lathe then another one for a quick job on my 9x20 that was attached with magnats. both worked great.I have a glass scale system in the box...someday I may get to install it., I also have the ell cheepo units I could put on it there also sitting on the shelf I had them on my 9x42 ( might be 9x49 I cant remember ****) bridgeport before I put galss scale's dro on it. dam i have a lot to do someday.
