 by tsbrownie - In case you are restoring something with a DPDT 2P2T switch. I tore one apart to see how it was made and the quality of it.
I can not tell by visual inspection what this failed. The switch became intermittent. Seems the contacts wore, corroded, or became loose. The new switch fixed it.
The old switch was a DIP package that was modified to be surface mounted, so I did the same.
