You are telling your age now. Lol. Boy, I haven't seen Roy Underhill for ages. He was fun to watch using the turn-of-the-century equipment. The one I remember clearly was the bow lathe. He had a line attached to a tree bent over to provide a counter-motion to his pushing down on the foot treadle. Quite a character. Loved his outfit..bib overalls, and golfing style hat. Very entertaining.
Nowadays we like to watch the Fixer Uppers with Chip and Jo. A couple from Waco, Texas that fix up newly bought homes for people. Unlike most "Reality" shows they are allowed to show they get along as a couple and appreciate what their partner is doing. It runs on HGTV with new episodes every Tuesday night.

Another thought I almost forgot "Ask This Old House". Great show.

Anyone remember Roy Underhill and The Woodwright's Shop? I always liked that one, too.

I watched one recently online, alot of interesting skills and history with just one episode. I added some more to the watch later for when I run out of other things to do. Thanks for the recommendation
