That's a lot of scrap metal and electronics cluttering up the envelope around this planet.

Swarm is dead. SpaceX bought them up, and is no longer accepting new customers. I think they're just going to allow the existing satellites to de-orbit and that'll be that.
When inter galactic visitors decide to pass by the Earth the first thing they are going to think is we better pass by and not stop the beings down there already have enough troubles
