Now retired, my working background was always in engineering i e: Fitter-Welder, Boilermaker-welder, construction/installation/maintenance service etc.

Thanks for the welcome... I do hope that I can contribute to ` Homemadetools ' in the future, it really is a fascinating site in deed. So many interesting, clever, unique tools and ideas...I am constantly amazed with your members ingenuity and resourcefulness. Those people truly are fascinating, a special breed ! Makes me want to get out there in the shed and start --- cutting, welding, drilling, grinding metal !

No projects on the horizon at the moment Jon. ( unfortunately ) Various reasons, briefly...had to ill health retire and we might be relocating to another state in the not too distant future. However, I will be constantly enjoying your site until I able to get back in the saddle.

Thanks for your welcome message...much appreciated and glad to be " onboard " . Other than small maintenance jobs sat at the work-bench, I do not have any projects on the go right now. Having now discovered your interesting crew and their fascinating work and ideas I am so much inspired to start something A S A P.
