Wire Clamp aid - Old idea

Being in a drought at the moment, when it started raining yesterday morning I was running around like a person possessed, collecting water and getting it into my tank. Only problem is the tank is on a terrace at the back of my yard about 5m up. Nice as gravity helps with the irrigation later

In between the showers I quickly threw together a submergable pump in a dustbin and a pipe up to the tanks. I could now collect water (swimming pool cover)and trow it into the dustbin and it could be pumped up to the tank...where am I going to with this looong story.

My take on the "old" wire clamp tool. Used it to connect what ever pipes I could find to make up the 20 meters I needed to get to the tanks. Can share its working if someone does not know this type of clamp. Fortunately made it some time ago so it was ready for use and at least clamps were going to be no problem.

the clamps are super neat, low profiled and for mine I use galvanised wire. I tried stainless, but find the wire has too much spring back.

And I have to share with my Web family that I managed to recover +600 Liters of water with some promise of some more rain Monday after noon
