I've had to do some manual wrapping lately, still regard it a PITA. A wrapping machine is useful building harnesses, but no getting around what's involved after the fact, repair work.
If you desire fabricating a wrapper, all you need to know opening picture and 9'47'' - 10'22''. "....all you need" includes adding a chain guard.
