    What's the point of the two loops made at 22 seconds. Seems like there's something missing.

    Just two different ways of making a screw eye for fastening cables to a screw terminal.

    True, but oriented wrong direction to be drawn tighter by the terminal screw (right hand thread). Probably due to mirroring the video.
    It takes an extra tool, but my preference uses chain nose pliers to form loops, turns out round and with a little practice, the right diameter.
