I believe I'd have just run away from it. Gutsy but not too bright!

I've never had a rototiller that took off like that. Normally there is a clutch arrangement and hand controls. That's crazy!

My Toro roto tiller has electric start now, but the engine is a Husky snowblower engine that came with a 120volt starter mounted on it. plug in an extension cord push the button and Wala no pulling on the rope. Mine won't run away from me though because it has clutch for the tines and forward and reverse for the wheels.
Never try to tell me it can't be done

I saw a tiktok where someone started a mower with a cordless drill turning the big bolt on the fan. It works and I hole-sawed the fan shroud on my tiller so I can do it with the cover on. It's amazing. The only pull rope I have left is on my chainsaw and I wish it was electric start.

    Elizabeth,
Chainsaws can be a pain in the rear. I always thought the perfect deal would be a decent portable generator and good heavy duty electric chainsaw.. Less weight and messing with the engine.
